Michelle Arancio, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and the founder of True North Psychiatry, a private practice rooted in thoughtful, compassionate mental health care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College and brings over twenty years of experience as a registered nurse to her psychiatric practice.

Michelle has practiced as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in private practice for the past four years, providing medication management in collaboration with psychotherapy. Her nursing background spans a wide range of clinical settings, including the Intensive Care Unit, advanced illness management, home health care, and work within a boarding high school health center. These diverse experiences deepened her understanding of the interconnectedness of mental, physical, and emotional health.

Through her clinical work, Michelle recognized the growing need for accessible, individualized psychiatric care and was inspired to create a practice that emphasizes clarity, trust, and forward movement. At True North Psychiatry, she works collaboratively with patients ages 7 and older who are engaged in psychotherapy and seeking medication management, offering care that is grounded, attentive, and tailored to each individual.

Outside of her clinical work, Michelle enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and being outdoors. She values laughter, fresh air, and moments of calm, and believes these simple, grounding experiences are an important part of emotional well-being.
